End User FAQ - Landlord Chronicle



Can I get a free product demo?
  Yes you can. If your business premises are within 100 kilometers from Nairobi City, we can come over a give a detailed product demonstration at no cost.

2. Can I take Landlord Chronicle on credit?
  No, we have no credit terms right now.

3. If I purchase the product and then realise I do not like it, can I get my money back?
  Yes, we will give you a full refund if you return the product within 14 days after purchase. However, this provision applies only to those clients who did not receive a detailed product demonstration prior to purchase.

4. At what times can I get free end user support by telephone?
  From 7.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. Monday to Saturday. The current help lines are listed on the contacts page.

5. What system configuration do I need in order to run Landlord Chronicle?
  You need a desktop PC or a Laptop installed with Microsoft Access and 50 MB of free disk space. A printer is optional but very useful.

6. If I am an agent managing several rental properties, can I still use Landlord Chronicle?
  Yes, you can take the agent version called Daftari PMS. This version is fine-tuned to address the needs of housing agents managing any number of properties. It also has features for selling plots and houses.

7. Does the price of KES 25,000 include shipping and handling?
  For clients living within 100 kilometers from Nairobi, delivery is absolutely free. For all other customers, a delivery fee equivalent to the cost of delivering a 1kg parcel by courier will be levied.

8. If I buy the product, will you post my existing data to the system for me?
  Yes. During end-user training, the developer will usually post up to 10 records of each kind to the system. Clients with larger volumes of data will usually get assistance from Milestone Computing under a separate agreement.
